Mandy Givi: Landscape Designer

Landscape Architect, Site Assessor

Mandy earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly, SLO in 2021. Through her time at Cal Poly, she felt deeply drawn towards designing for the natural systems. Coastal ecology, green infrastructure, climate resilience and habitat restoration were topics that had always piqued her interest. So much so, that her senior capstone project was a water management plan that aimed to alleviate the water crisis in drought-ridden, arid regions in the Middle East. She strongly believes that with climate change being present and looming around us, it’s imperative to do our part as designers to provide resilient and restorative environmental solutions, at any scale - big or small.

Mandy interned at Watershed Progressive in the summer of 2020 and rejoined the team in February of 2023. Prior to Watershed Progressive, she worked at a multi-disciplinary engineering firm in Nashville. Mandy is originally from Northern Virginia. In her spare time, she enjoys fine-line drawing, reading, hiking, and spending as much time as she can at the beach.
