The explorations taken place in North America, north Africa, Europe and the Caribbean left Benoit with a new sense of purpose and connection with nature. Growing up the son of a world-travelling landscape architect and designer, Benoit was called back outside to spend his time observing and studying nature even more. When he's not literally dancing with fire, he's learning, teaching, and co-creating memorable experiences with others outdoors.

My Work at SWP:
Designing, Planning, Teaching & Installation
Why My Work Matters:
Climate chaos driven by humanities disconnect from nature is why my work matters. I create fire-resistant landscapes that naturally provide an abundance of food and build soil health, while simultaneously capturing water for both potable and non-potable use.
